SINGING ANOTHER DENOMINATION INTO BEING

These are former Catholics who have begun a schismatic denomination, a neo-Protestant one. Oddly, and of course since they are all priests, there are no bishops that have signed on--who needs the clergy! They're all my age, the age that remembers the stringent authority of the Church and our Catholic culture prior to the Second Vatican Council and remember what it was like to have the authority jettisoned in the 1960's. They want to make it up as they go. I wonder how many will splinter from the divisiveness they thrive on?

I don't think this group is to be fear only pitied. Who would want to join them when there are reputable Protestant denominations to join?

Again, I am reminded of the Holy Father's comment early in his office that the Church would have to get smaller to survive. This is sad for the damage it does to the souls of these people and their followers and families.

But I also am reminded of a movie called, "The Manster" where a guy experiments with something he shouldn't, grows a monster in himself, then splits in two with the monster and the man paying the price. You should watch it whenever you contemplate modern times and how our decedents will ask themselves, "What were they thinking?" You may as well laugh at yourself, 'cause everyone is is going to.

It's amazing how folks want religion to conform to them or go shopping for a church that suits their political beliefs. What would religion be for if the parishioners told it what to believe? It seems as if some people's loyalties are stronger with their politics than their church. If that reasoning was to follow through there would be as many churches as there are individuals. This is why Jesus founded his church so that it is an unbroken chain to the anchor of Truth with Traditions and Teachings. That sounds like a good name for a website. Truth, Traditions and Teachings.

Well, not surprisingly, Fr. would not post my comments on the personal grooming and overall appearance of liberal women (heh, heh). Liberals are some of the angriest, most self-hating people in the world. It is reflected in their dress and in their overall demeanor. However, they are practiced at coming off as reasonable and "nice guys." They are patronizing, but disguise it well (mostly). This causes those who confront them and question their reasoning to appear as the bad guys. Someone like Voris, for instance, who is straight forward and confrontive, will appear to be the bad guy because of his polemical style. Justifiable anger and passion in debate will always appear to be "aggressiveness" when dealing with liberal feel good, Kum Ba Yah rhetoric. Freud isn't taught anymore, but take a look at Karen Horney's, "The Neurotic Personality of Our Time," or "Neurosis and Human Growth," for a look at liberal personality dynamics.

You know how anti-aircraft gunners recognised Luftwaffe aircraft during the Blitz?

Hair under the wings.

OK, if there is an award for finding the most egregious example of nuttiness I hereby claim it and want it delivered to the house this weekend before the cookout:

Western Mass, Y'all

Yee-Haa

(They didn't have a banjo. Dang)

Alright, Father, you posted RCG's comment about "hair under the wings," but you would not post mine about ugly liberal women. That is unfair, I protest,I want equal treatment. I want reparations, I want a lawyer,I want government sanctions, I want a new denomination, where is the ACLU? I am outraged, I tell you, outraged! I think I'll march in front of St. Jo's Sunday with a troupe of liberal she-priests...no, wait, then people would think I was marching for an animal rights group...ahhhggg!! No justice, I tell you, no justice....
